Pinsta Pinhole Camera Kickstarter Project Launch

I’m giving this Kickstarter another chance. I want to go on a photography focused trip with my Pinsta Camera.

The Pinsta camera is a pinhole camera. Basically a plastic box. It creates these wonderful old fashioned looking photos and it does it right inside the camera. Pinsta creates a photograph using direct positive paper AND develops that photo.

Depending on the light, with this camera I can have a photograph I can hold in my hand in about 10 minutes. No waiting for prints to be shipped. On the spot photo development. How fun is that?

With the help of this Kickstarter, I’ll be able to buy more Pinsta equipment including a 8x10 back that will allow me to create 8x10 photographs and a film holder that will allow me to use the Pinsta to create photographs from film negatives.

Photographs created with the Pinsta have a mood and energy all their own.

If this Kickstarter is funded I will be traveling to Washington state and photographing as many kinds of things that I can. Nature, landscape, street, whatever I see on my trip. These photographs will be used as backer rewards and to create a photo book.

This project is a big step for me as a photographer. I’m excited about this project. Even though Pinsta has been around for several years (and got its own start on Kickstarter), there aren’t a lot of photographers using it. This project is away to share something a little different.
