

I was inspired by the color of this yarn. It reminded me of smoke and embers drifting through the air or touched of sunlight on foggy mornings. Unfortunately, I don't have any photos of the hank before I knit it up.

Materials:
Akara yarn Bulky
Colorway: Incense
Needles: 10mm and 12mm
Cable needle
Darning /Yarn needle
Stitches Used:
C4F - slip two stitches on to cable needle, hold to front of work. Knit two stitches. Knit two stitches off cable needle.
C4B - slip two stitches on to cable needle, hold in back of work. Knit two stitches. Knit two stitches off cable needle
K2tog - knit two stitches together
Using 10mm needles, cast on 54 stitches. Join in round. Making sure you still have 54 stitches.
RNDS 1-5: k3,p3, repeat to end of round.
RNDS 6-7: knit
RND 8: k2, C4B , repeat to end of round.
RNDS 9-10: knit
RND 11: C4F, k2, repeat to end of round
Repeat RNDS 6-11 three times.
Start decreases. Switch to DPNS if needed.
RND 22: k4, k2tog, repeat to end of round.
RND 23: knit
RND: 24: k1, C4B, repeat to end of round.
RND 25: k3, k2tog, repeat to end of round.
RND 26: C4F, repeat to end or round.
RND 27: k2, k2tog, repeat to end of round.
RND 28: k1, k2tog, repeat to end of round.
Bind off stitches and finish off hat.
You will have yarn left over. I don't have a scale so I'm not sure how much yarn this hat actually uses.
