Journaling with Song Lyrics Live Recording
This is the second year long journaling project I’m doing in 2026. This one is using song lyrics in my art journal.
I have chosen to use one band, Sleep Token, for this project. Each month I will select on of their songs at random to work with in my journal.
This month’s song is Provider.
Make this project your own:
Pick a band you love and use their songs
Choose a theme and pick songs that fit that theme
Pick a song that inspires or speaks to you in some way
You don’t need to journal the entire song. Pick out the lyrics that you are connecting with in the moment.
The art you create can be anything. There is no wrong way to do this. It’s ok to be messy or ‘ugly’. No one ever has to see your journal but you.
