Finally a touch of Autumn
It was supposed to rain today, but it didn't.
I took advantage of the day and went for a walk with my camera.
I have around 200 images to sort through. Digital makes me a little snap happy.
I also had a 35mm Canon loaded with black and white film with me. I took a few photos with that, because I'm testing the functioning of the camera.
Most of the photos I took won't be ones I like. That is ok. I went out and took photos today. That is the important thing. I walked a section of this path I haven't before. I walked. That's a win.
Sometimes, most of the time, we get caught up in thinking that every photo, piece of art, song, WTFever, has to be perfect every time. That is bullshit. Magic happens in messes, mistakes and imperfections. That is where we learn and grow. That is how you improve your skills.
